Role summary / purpose
The successful candidate will serve as the link between the plant and the manufacturing facility, acting as a Customer Service Engineer (CSE) residing at the customer facility.
Key responsibilities
- Re-verify parts within the computer system
- Perform first level analysis of non-conformances
- Verify all suspect product and maintain product test equipment
- Serve as the communication link between Customer Plant and manufacturing operations
- Expedite non-conforming material same day
- Input data into Incident Reporting System (IRS)
- Provide technical support and system understanding
- Conduct and coordinate initial 24 hour containment activities
- Coordinate additional containment where required
- Be an integral part of response teams
- Write weekly trip reports
- Monitor and negotiate customer return Parts Per Million (PPM) rates
- Provide and coordinate special event activities
- Develop customer relationships to improve product and maintain or increase business
Requirements – education & experience
- 6-10 years of related work experience
- College degree with a major in Engineering

- Wire Harness Experience
- Customer facing experience
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and email
- Highly organized
- Superior communication skills
- Training in computer applications
